2024-2025 Social Touch Information

Orange Thunder Touch Football welcomes all current & new touch football players to join our amazing touch football community & be involved in our 2024/25 social touch football competitions.

Our club is the largest sporting community in the Orange LGA area & we offer a variety of fun and inclusive social touch football competitions for everyone – regardless of your age, ability or experience playing touch football – we have a competition for everyone.

For the 2024/25 social touch football season, we will be offering the following social competitions:

Mixed social touch competitions – held on Tuesday evenings starting 15 October 2024
Men’s & Women’s social touch competitions – held on Thursday evenings starting 17 October 2024
Mini social touch competitions for U6, U7, U8 and U9 – held on Wednesday afternoons starting 16 October 2024 & Concluding Wednesday 18 December 2024
Junior social touch competitions for U11, U13 and U15 – held on Wednesday afternoons/evenings starting 18 October 2024 & Concluding on 12 March 2025 with GF

MIXED, MEN’S & WOMEN’S SOCIAL COMPETITIONS:

All player registrations include playing fees, insurance plus free social membership to Waratahs Sports Club (all members 18 yrs & over).

Team & player registrations – NOW OPEN – follow the instruction guides listed below
- Early bird discount player registration ($85) – NOW OPEN – follow the instruction guides listed below
- Normal player registration ($100) – after 26 August 2024
- All players will be required to pay $22 TFA Registration Fee for their first 2024-25 Competition.
Active Kids Vouchers can be used for all player registrations
Team registrations close Friday 27 September 2024 (teams need 10 players registered by this date)
Player registrations into teams close at the conclusion of Round 4 of competition (player registrations after Round 5 must be made in writing & approved by Orange Thunder Executive)

MINI & JUNIOR SOCIAL COMPETITIONS:

- Early bird discount player registration ($70 for juniors, $40 for minis) – NOW OPEN – follow the instruction guides listed below
- Normal player registration ($85 for juniors, $50 for minis) – after 26 August 2024
Active Kids Vouchers can be used for all player registrations
Team registrations close Friday 27 September 2024 (all junior teams need 7 players registered by this date)
Player registrations into teams close after Round 4 of competition (player registrations after Round 5 must be made in writing & approved by Orange Thunder Executive)

PLAYERS WISHING TO REGISTER WHO DON’T HAVE A TEAM:

Any individual players who wish to be involved in any of our social competitions, but do not have a team to play in, please email our club orangethundertouch@yahoo.com so we can try to find a team for you.

In your email, please include the following information to aid us in finding you a team:

Full Name, Gender & DOB
Competition preference for all opens players (Mixed, Men’s or Women’s)
School for all mini/junior players
Touch Experience (beginner, played before but very social, played before interested in higher divisions)
