Orange Thunder Touch Football welcomes all current & new touch football players to join our amazing touch football community & be involved in our 2023/24 social touch football competitions.
Our club is the largest sporting community in the Orange LGA area & we offer a variety of fun and inclusive social touch football competitions for everyone – regardless of your age, ability or experience playing touch football – we have a competition for everyone.
For the 2023/24 social touch football season, we will be offering the following social competitions:
- Mixed social touch competitions – held on Tuesday evenings starting 10 October 2023
- Men’s & Women’s social touch competitions – held on Thursday evenings starting 12 October 2023
- Spring (Term 4 of 2023) Mini social touch competitions for U6, U7, U8 and U9 – held on Wednesday afternoons starting 11 October 2023
- Spring (Term 4 of 2023) Junior social touch competitions for U11, U13 and U15 – held on Wednesday afternoons/evenings starting 11 October 2023
- Summer (Term 1 of 2024) Mini social touch competitions for U7, U8, U9 and U10 – held on Wednesday afternoons starting 31 January 2024
- Summer (Term 1 of 2024) Junior social touch competitions for U12, U14 and U16 – held on Wednesday afternoons starting 31 January 2024
All of our social touch football competitions will commence Wednesday 12 October 2022, with all games being played at Waratahs Sports Ground.

MIXED, MEN’S & WOMEN’S SOCIAL COMPETITIONS:
All player registrations include playing fees, insurance plus free social membership to Waratahs Sports Club (all members 18 yrs & over).
- Team & player registrations – NOW OPEN – follow the instruction guides listed below
- Early bird discount player registration ($85) – NOW OPEN – follow the instruction guides listed below
- Normal player registration ($100) – after 6 September 2022
- Active Kids Vouchers can be used for all player registrations (use the voucher to play for FREE)
- Team registrations close Sunday 2 October 2022 (teams need 10 players registered by this date)
- Player registrations into teams close prior to Round 5 of competition (player registrations after Round 5 must be made in writing & approved by Orange Thunder Executive)

MINI & JUNIOR SOCIAL COMPETITIONS:
All mini & junior player registrations include playing fees, insurance plus a new Orange Thunder waterbottle.

- Early bird discount player registration ($70 for juniors, $55 for minis) – NOW OPEN – follow the instruction guides listed below
- Normal player registration ($85 for juniors, $70 for minis) – after 6 September 2022

- Team registrations close Sunday 2 October 2022 (all junior teams need 7 players registered by this date)

PLAYERS WISHING TO REGISTER WHO DON’T HAVE A TEAM:
Any individual players who wish to be involved in any of our social competitions, but do not have a team to play in, please email our club orangethundertouch@yahoo.com so we can try to find a team for you.
In your email, please include the following information to aid us in finding you a team:
- Full Name, Gender & DOB
- Competition preference for all opens players (Mixed, Men’s or Women’s)
- School for all mini/junior players
- Touch Experience (beginner, played before but very social, played before interested in higher divisions)
